Event Information
When does Formosa Country Christmas take place?
Formosa Country Christmas takes place during the first full weekend of December, running Thursday through Sunday. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the magic of Christmas with family and friends!
What are the event hours?
The Christmas light show is open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM each evening, Thursday through Sunday.
Is there an admission fee?
Admission is by cash donation only.
Where is Formosa Country Christmas located?
The main event is held at the Formosa Lion’s Park (206 Council Rd. Formosa) but be sure to tour the whole town from the Formosa Brewery to the ball diamond to the Church. There is a map on our homepage.
Do I need to make a reservation or purchase tickets in advance?
No reservations or tickets are required.
Do I stay in my vehicle to see the Christmas lights?
Yes! The Christmas light show is designed as a drive-through experience, allowing visitors to enjoy the festive displays from the comfort of their own vehicles. Please remain in your vehicle the whole time.
How long does it take to drive through the light display?
The time required to enjoy the display may vary depending on traffic and how busy the event is. We recommend allowing extra time so you can enjoy your visit without feeling rushed.
Is the event suitable for children?
Absolutely! Formosa Country Christmas is intended to be a festive experience for visitors of all ages. It is a lovely opportunity for families to enjoy the lights and make Christmas memories together.
Can I take photographs during my visit?
We encourage visitors to capture their Christmas memories from their vehicles where it is safe to do so. Please remain mindful of other visitors and avoid using a phone or camera while driving.

Are church tours available every evening?
No. Church tours are available on Thursday and Friday evenings only. Tours are not offered on Saturday or Sunday.

No. Visitors can enjoy the drive-through Christmas light show without participating in a church tour.
What happens if the weather is bad?
